## Common questions

### What happens on the first call?

Twenty focused minutes on what you are building, how the company works today, what the team has tried, and where AI feels underused. You leave with a clear view of the best next step.

### What does it cost to work with you?

The AI Transformation Audit is $2,000 AUD at the founding rate. The standard rate is $3,000 AUD. Custom System Builds are typically $5,000–$20,000 AUD. Managed Hosting and Support is $300–$500 AUD per month. Team workshops typically cost $1,500–$2,500 AUD. The intro call is free.

### Do we have to start with an audit?

Usually, yes. The audit helps us understand the company and its systems, and define a safe first build before either side commits to a larger one. We skip it when the problem, scope, and technical requirements are already clear. A team workshop is the other way to start.

### What happens after a build ships?

Managed Hosting and Support keeps the system running for $300–$500 AUD per month. It includes hosting, monitoring, backups, maintenance, and routine technical support. Software subscriptions and usage costs are billed separately.

### Where are you based, and who will I work with?

Slo Labs is based in Sydney and works with founder-led companies across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. Luke stays close to the founder, the roadmap, and the important technical decisions.
